  • Scott Penton, with Sugar Hill U-Pick Farm, joins us to talk about their family strawberry farm in Verbena, Alabama. Sugar Hill is reported to be the largest strawberry grower in Alabama, with more than 220,000 plants on plastic this year.   • Attorney General Steve Marshall is on to discuss the state of Alabama joining 23 other states in a lawsuit against the EPA. The suit is aimed at clarifying the uncertain language and definitions regarding the Waters of the US in the Clean Water Act. The new regulations will leave many farmers and landowners in uncertainty about their ability to use their land. https://www.alabamaag.gov/about

  • Randall Upchurch talks about some upcoming angus cattle sales that he will be attending. And he discusses a new grain roasting and storage facility for sale in Monroe County, Alabama.
